"I was on crutches for over a year. Nothing was working. Then I found chiropractic — and everything changed."
— Dr. Steve Landry, on why he became a chiropractor

From Pain to Purpose: Dr. Landry's Story

When Dr. Landry was 18, a car accident left him with a broken leg and months of limited mobility. Despite undergoing physical therapy, he spent over a year on crutches — his body simply wasn't healing the way it should.

Then something changed. He began receiving chiropractic care — and for the first time, his leg began to heal. The chronic pain disappeared. His mobility returned. When he told his orthopedic specialist what had worked, the doctor was stunned.

"Chiropractic?" he asked. "No way."

But it was chiropractic. And that moment became a turning point. Dr. Landry felt a clear calling to pursue a path in chiropractic and help others experience the same kind of breakthrough healing he had.

Life University, Marietta GA — and a Georgia Bulldogs Shirt

Originally from Québec, Canada, Dr. Landry followed that calling to Life University in Marietta, GA — one of the world's top chiropractic institutions. There, he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic cum laude. And more than that, he found the life God had prepared for him.

He met his wife Dr. Amber, a fellow chiropractor and Georgia native. (It's funny — his favorite shirt growing up was a Georgia Bulldogs tee. Little did he know God would lead him to Georgia, where he'd marry into a die-hard Bulldogs family and build a faith-filled life and career rooted in purpose.)

In 2011, Dr. Landry opened the doors of United Chiropractic Center in Marietta. More than 15 years later, the practice has helped thousands of families across East Cobb, Smyrna, Kennesaw, and greater Marietta — and he still adjusts every single patient himself.

The Landry family — Dr. Steve and Dr. Amber Landry with their four children — United Chiropractic Center Marietta GA

This Is Us — The Landrys

That's Steve, Amber, and our four kids. Three of them were born at home. One came into the world via C-section at Northside Hospital — a good reminder that we're not anti-medicine. We're pro-smart-choices. And sometimes the smart choice is a C-section.

Our kids have never had antibiotics. They've never had a sick visit for an ear infection. They get adjusted regularly, they eat real food, and they sleep well. We're not bragging — we're just showing you that we actually live this. The same things we tell you in the office are the things we do at home.

Dr. Amber is a chiropractor too (and a Georgia native — she's the one who got Steve into the Bulldogs). We've built this practice together, and we've built our family on the same foundation: the body was designed to heal. Our job is to get out of the way and let it.

When you walk into United Chiropractic Center, you're not walking into a chain or a franchise. You're walking into a place that a real family built, runs, and cares deeply about. We've seen what this work does for people. We've felt it ourselves. And that's why we show up every single day.

"Most of the families I see have already tried everything else — medication, physical therapy, rest. And they still hurt. What they haven't tried is correcting the actual structure of their spine. That's what we do. And that's why they get better."
— Dr. Steve Landry, DC · United Chiropractic Center · Marietta, GA

Why Marietta Families Choose United Chiropractic Center

There are a lot of chiropractic offices in Marietta. Here's what sets us apart from the rest — and why patients keep coming back, and sending their families.

Whole Family

Care for Every Age

From newborns to grandparents, we provide gentle, effective chiropractic care tailored to each patient's age, size, and condition — no one-size-fits-all adjustments here.

Root Cause

We Fix the Source, Not the Symptom

Whether you have back pain, neck pain, or headaches, we work to correct the structural cause — not just manage the discomfort.

Objective Diagnostics

Measure, Don't Guess

We use Tytron nerve scans and digital postural X-rays to objectively assess your spine — so your care plan is based on real findings, not guesswork.

Corrective Care

Structural Correction

We develop individual care plans to retrain your spine to its correct position — not just make you feel better in the moment, but give you lasting structural change.

Faith-Led

Body Designed to Heal

We believe God designed your body with the ability to heal itself. Our job is to remove the interference — subluxations — so your nervous system can do exactly that.

Community

Rooted in Marietta

We're not a franchise or a chain. We're a local, family-run practice that has served this community since 2011 and is committed to staying here and making care accessible.

Chiropractic as Primary Care — Not a Last Resort

In Georgia, chiropractors are licensed primary care providers. That means you don't need a referral, and you don't have to wait until everything else has failed before you come see us.

When your child has an earache, or your back seizes up on a Tuesday morning, or you're pregnant and can't sleep — you can come straight to your chiropractor. We evaluate whether spinal misalignments (subluxations) may be interfering with your nervous system, and if so, we correct them naturally.

More and more Marietta families are choosing chiropractic as their first step, not their last resort — because they want healthcare that's proactive, not reactive. That's the kind of practice we've built. And it's the kind of care your family deserves.

Our Philosophy in Plain English

Your spine protects your nervous system. Your nervous system controls everything. When your spine is out of alignment, it creates interference — and your body pays the price. Corrective chiropractic removes that interference so your body can function the way it was designed to.

What to Expect at United Chiropractic Center Marietta

We take three visits to build your care plan properly. Here's how it works — and why.

01

First Visit — 45 Minutes

03

Regular Adjustments — 15 Minutes

Once care begins, adjustments are efficient — about 15 minutes. Dr. Landry already knows your spine and your care plan. You check in, head back, get adjusted, and get on with your day.

Questions About Our Marietta Chiropractic Practice

Who is Dr. Steve Landry?
Dr. Steve Landry is a Doctor of Chiropractic who has served Marietta, GA families since 2011. Originally from Québec, Canada, he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic cum laude from Life University in Marietta. He specializes in corrective chiropractic care for the whole family — from newborns to seniors — using digital X-rays and Tytron nerve scans to identify and correct spinal misalignment at the source.
Is United Chiropractic Center a family practice?
Yes — in every sense. Dr. Steve and Dr. Amber are both chiropractors and parents of four children. The practice serves every member of the family, from newborns and toddlers to pregnant moms, athletes, and seniors. Adjusting techniques are modified for each patient's age and condition, so gentle care for a 3-month-old looks very different from care for a 60-year-old with a herniated disc.
What conditions do you treat at United Chiropractic Center Marietta?
We treat a wide range of conditions including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, headaches, migraines, posture problems, scoliosis, and sports injuries. We also specialize in prenatal chiropractic care, pediatric adjustments, and auto accident recovery. If you're not sure whether chiropractic can help your situation, call us — we'll give you a straight answer.
What can I expect on my first visit?

At the second visit (your Report of Findings), he'll review the results with you and you'll receive your first adjustment.
Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor in Georgia?
No referral needed. In Georgia, chiropractors are licensed primary care providers — which means you can schedule directly with us at any time, for any reason. You don't need to see your primary care doctor first. If we find something that requires a referral to a medical specialist, we'll guide you to the right provider.
Is chiropractic care safe for children and pregnant women?
Yes. When performed by a trained chiropractor, care for children and pregnant women is gentle and safe. Dr. Landry uses low-force techniques appropriate for each patient's age and condition. He is certified in the Webster Technique for prenatal care, which helps optimize pelvic alignment during pregnancy. Many of our patients bring their newborns and toddlers in for regular wellness adjustments — and Dr. Steve and Dr. Amber do the same with their own four children.
Does United Chiropractic Center accept insurance?
We offer a complimentary benefits check for all new patients so you know exactly what your insurance covers before your first visit.
